I took this photo in a huge abandoned thermal spa located near Santa Cesarea Terme in Apulia (southern Italy). The spa had been finished some 20 years ago but was never put into operation due to some legal and political disputes. More than 19 million euros of taxpayers' money was wasted - a scandal that nobody seems to care much about (anymore).
